Do the dog days of August have you looking ahead to New Year’s Eve, that one big holiday at the end of the work-a-day tunnel?
Don’t worry; that’s normal. In fact, if you’re a My Morning Jacket fan, it’s necessary. That’s because the southern rock juggernauts just announced a run of three dates at Broomfield’s FirstBank Center leading up to New Year’s Day.
The band will play with a different opener each night: Dec. 29 with Prince’s band, the Revolution; Dec. 30 with Tune Yards; and Dec. 31 with Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires.
Tickets to the show range from $49.95 for a single-day GA ticket to $165 for a three-day GA pass. A single-ticket GA pass to the band’s New Year’s Eve show (12/31) costs $75. Tickets go on sale Aug. 11 via altitudetickets.com. There are two pre-sales for this show: Aug. 8 at 8 a.m. MT for members of My Morning Jacket’s Roll Call fan club, and an AEG pre-sale on Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. MT.
