The seventh annual Colorado Crush festival, which united more than 30 artists from in and outside Colorado for a week of furious mural-paining, wrapped up in the River North neighborhood on Sept. 18.

But the murals and other public art they left behind will continue to enrich the area for months (and ideally years) to come. Various stakeholders — restaurants and bars, retail shops, art galleries and co-ops — banded together to support Crush, which was based around the intersection of 27th and Larimer Streets Sept. 12-18.

Founded by Denver graffiti artist Dread, Crush turns street art and creative expression into (not-quite-gentrified) neighborhood beautification, realigning this once-gritty warehouse and industrial district as a place for bold, colorful visual statements.

Check out the video above for work from from artists like Jose Mertz, Boy Kong, Dulk, Keith Goble, Lindsey Kuhn, Kelsey Montague and Taketo Kobayashi.
